He was good winning at the Illawarra Grange first-up then came back slightly in trip and it cost him at Warwick Farm as he was only getting warm at the finish.. Lightly raced and on the way up and placed to advantage.. 1..

Agent Zero has a Randwick win against his name over 1800m from earlier this year and he'll be a danger second-up on the back of a sound third at Kensington where he was well supported.. Blinkers go on and looks the major stumbling block.. 6..

Force March hasn't done a whole lot wrong and he was game when chasing home Alabama State in a Midway a few weeks ago.. Draws the outside in the smallish field but another on the way up and has a case.. 4..

She Moves Too has improved with each run back up in Queensland and was just touched out by Scripted over the mile two weeks ago.. She's stakes placed up north and is in the mix.. How to play it:.

Donatello WIN.. Race 2 - 12:45PM TAB HIGHWAY HANDICAP (1400 METRES) 6.. Party Boss is a very interesting runner, it's his first Highway attempt and he's doing it at start 16..

He's been competitive in some strong races in his region including a Country Championships earlier this year and his two runs back have been pleasing.. Too good for them at Leeton over the shorter trip then not disgraced back up in class at Wagga.. Draws ideally and can be a player..

2.. Bluish Hue is the logical horse to beat and no surprise he's favoured.. Scored a nice win at Rosehill two starts back and will be backing up from his narrow defeat to Ocean Tsunami last week over the mile..

The blinkers going on might offset the 200m drop within a week and that'd be the only query as he's in top form.. 16.. Street Force hasn't had any luck with the barrier draw after having zero luck in her Highway a few weeks ago..

Her stablemate Ocean Tsunami comes out of that race too.. She was good from the back behind Bluish Hue prior and stays under notice here.. 5..

Magic Merlin shouldn't be left out either.. He ran eighth in that Rosehill Highway three weeks ago and spent most of the straight going sideways trying to get clear.. Closed off well under the circumstances, draws okay and has each-way claims..

How to play it:. Party Boss EACH-WAY.. Race 3 - 1:20PM MOSTYNCOPPER HANDICAP (1300 METRES) Open race..

2.. Fiddlers Green tends to run well fresh and he's been right in the finish first-up in his past few campaigns.. Draws to effect too..

His recent trials have been at Tamworth and Scone so he's obviously done a good deal of his preparation in the Hunter which didn't harm a horse like his stablemate Formal Display.. He gets the chance to compete the trip fresh and should run a handy race.. 4..

Ruination sat on speed two runs back and boxed on okay behind Decorum but he found himself a long way back at Randwick two weeks ago.. He made some ground to be beaten three lengths and will find this a bit easier.. He just hasn't attacked the line like he did in his first-up run in three subsequent starts..

8.. Just Response is lightly raced and resumes after a fair effort at Rosehill in May on a heavy track.. Have to forgive that, he's had a couple of recent trials and draws to be wherever desired..

3.. Lightning Glory was a slightly easy favourite first-up at Kensington and while he didn't threaten from the back he was only beaten a length.. Fitter for that, drawn well and gets a bit of weight relief..

How to play it:. Fiddlers Green EACH-WAY.. Race 4 - 2:00PM FOUR PILLARS MIDWAY (1500 METRES) 5..

Cuban Cigar arguably should have won the Coonamble Cup last time out and if he'd done that he'd be going around on Tuesday in a richer race.. Just found himself in an awkward spot there and did a good job to get as close as he did.. He was solid in midweek company prior to that and just missed behind the handy Attractiveness earlier in the season..

The draw is an issue but if he has a bit of luck he can be right in the finish.. 1.. Alabama State is the horse to beat, he finally had the right run in the Midway three weeks ago and duly saluted..

His form prior was in stronger company and he held his own.. The claim helps, he's honest and should run well.. 2..

Octa De Lago has been around the mark in two runs back in Benchmark 78 grade so is well placed back to this race third-up.. Blinkers go on him and gets gate one.. Easy to make a case for him to be in the finish..

13.. Magical Moments ran right up to some support when narrowly beaten first-up at Canterbury and her run behind Alabama State last time had some merit.. She's an each-way chance..

How to play it:. Cuban Cigar EACH-WAY.. Race 5 - 2:40PM ALM ON-PREMISE HANDICAP (2000 METRES) 2..

Perisher is an import who looked the goods winning at his local debut at Rosehill over the 1500m in a higher grade benchmark race.. He was a winner over this sort of trip earlier in the year so the rise in distance will be in his favour.. Not badly weighted after the claim and down in class he should take beating..

12.. Koolibah made a promising return hitting the line late at Kensington but that was some six weeks ago.. She trialled recently and must have had enough work to be going straight to this trip and both his wins have been in this range..

Keep in mind.. 8.. Columbus was just touched out in a tight finish of an 1800m Midway four weeks ago..

The blinkers come off and he drops 2kg, he hasn't been far away when he's been beaten and is one of the chances.. 7.. Botanical Boy won over a mile at Warwick Farm before his close third at Kensington up to 1800m..

Ticked over with a trial last week and if he has any luck in running he's a contender.. How To Play It:. Perisher WIN..

Race 6 - 3:20PM E SECURITY GROUP HANDICAP (1300 METRES) 7.. Chix posted a very soft win first-up in easier company at Kensington, sitting on speed and she had a bit in hand as she put the leader away late.. Has to be fitter for that, she has a great winning record so far and draws ideally to get a nice run..

While up in grade the depth isn't there and she should be around the mark.. 16.. Sylph is up to 13 starts for one win and she was excellent when resuming behind Golden Straand and She's An Artist which isn't bad form..

Close up in the Nivison last time out, obviously right back in grade here and she has another chance.. 5.. Metallic Cat was huge when resuming with a narrow defeat off a wide gate, looked to have her chance at Rosehill last time but this is a similar race and she was a $1.90 chance there so she could bounce back..

4.. Beside The Ocean would like a truly run race to compensate for the drop of 100m on her last run where while she beat one home she really couldn't be effective from where she was.. Respecting the market from that run, has a gear change and could be dangerous..

How To Play It:. Chix EACH-WAY.. Race 7 - 4:00PM THE RUSSELL BALDING STAKES (1300 METRES) 1..

Jimmysstar has a tough gate on paper but it does suit his style of powering down the middle as he did to win the Manikato two starts ago.. His run in the Everest was excellent considering where he found himself in the run and he was one of the strongest late picking up significant ground.. Won this race easily last year, appears to be going quite well and should be hard to hold out..

8.. Headwall also comes through the Everest and his fourth was a super effort.. He was matching it with Ka Ying Rising in the straight and only missed a placing narrowly..

On trial at 1300m but draws to get the soft run and if the gaps open up he can sprint as well as anything.. 6.. Ninja's effort in the Everest had plenty of merit in itself..

He was up there near that quick tempo and stayed on to be beaten a length and a half.. He has the tactical versatility to offset the tricky gate and has to be respected.. 11..

Marhoona is racing well this time in without winning and she tried very hard in the Sydney Stakes to claim second.. Placed behind Tempted before that in the Premiere.. Racing like 1300m might suit her now and she can run well..

How To Play It:. Jimmysstar WIN.. Race 8 - 4:45PM ASAHI SUPER DRY GOLDEN EAGLE (1500 METRES) 16..

Sheza Alibi is difficult to go past even if you do mark her down a little for being beaten as a long odds-on favourite in the Might And Power last time.. It was 2000m for the first time and they ran a track record to beat her, narrowly.. Dynamic winning at the mile before that and smashed them in a Doncaster at this track earlier in the year..

Drawn ideally and picks herself.. 15.. Amazing Journey is a real wild card runner, he's an import first-up for the Maher stable and he brings some strong finishing wins with him from the UK..

His second trial was particularly handy and the jockey has won three races on him so knows him well.. He can run a cheeky race.. 2..

Skyhook has had a perfect preparation for this race and wasn't far from making it three from three this time in with his close second in the Silver Eagle.. The slight drop in trip coupled with a strong tempo didn't help.. Ran well and will run well again here..

4.. Regal Award is the type who could give some cheek up on the speed if he's in the mood.. Good effort first-up at Caulfield but wasn't able to repel them in the Toorak where he started favourite..

That race has proven a good pointer to the Eagle before.. Each-way.. How To Play It:.

Sheza Alibi WIN.. Race 9 - 5:20PM SYDNEY GOLD CUP (2000 METRES) 14.. Barrengarry handled the step out of Midway grade, following his two strong wins, in good style with a narrow defeat when up to this trip a few weeks ago..

He had to do all the chasing himself from the back and only failed by a stride or so.. That will harden him up for this stronger assignment, though it doesn't look that much harder, and he's a good chance.. If you like Barrengarry you have to respect 10..

Anthracite who held him off to win that race.. He's since dropped to the mile last week and posted another narrow win.. What you get in what you see with him, he'll lead or be right there and can take running down as he's a fighter..

9.. Starzintheireyes looked a bit plain in that 2000m event at Rosehill having every chance in the run and just boxing on for fourth.. No gear changes but drawn well and drops significantly in weight so he has to be given another chance..

1.. Kovalica hasn't won in 14 starts at this track but this would be one of the easier assignments he's been faced with.. Not disgraced in the Hill Stakes or Craven Plate in his past couple and nicely enough in with the 58.5kg, a soft draw and Nash to boss him around..

How To Play It:. Barrengarry WIN.. Race 10 - 5:55PM CATANACH'S JEWELLERS HANDICAP (1100 METRES) 14..

Somerton Smart was far too good as an odds-on favourite when he returned from a break at Tamworth a few weeks ago.. Obviously this is a harder task but he looks to fit in well with his racing style from a handy draw.. There should be reasonable speed so he can get a soft run which he didn't have in his only Sydney start in a Highway..

He can run well and is at least an each-way hope.. 15.. Better Late went around as a $1.80 chance at Rosehill a month ago and had to do a bit too much work to run out the 1300m strongly..

Only beaten half a length.. Big drop in weight, obviously up in class, but makes his own luck on the speed and looks over the odds.. 9..

Mercy Me did plenty of work first-up and held on okay then went right back last time at Rosehill and worked home pretty well into fourth.. Interesting to see where she lands this time but she's well worth including again.. 4..

Where'stheprofit belted his rivals at Dubbo off a month's freshen up and has put together quite an impressive winning record in his 11 starts so far.. Very lightly raced and this is wide open.. He has an each-way chance..
