Wuling is a subsidiary of SAIC Motor that also owns MG and LDV - brands that have significant line-ups on sale in Australia.. General Motors holds a significant stake in Wuling as well.. The car is known as the Xingguang 560 in China, but is also on sale in Indonesia as the Eksion 560..

It is available in petrol, plug-in hybrid and EV set-ups, but at this stage, only the latter has been approved for sale.. Australian sales approval information confirmed the car has a single front-mounted electric motor that produces 150kW.. It's expected to offer the same 310Nm as in Indonesia..

Indonesian models are equipped with a 69.2kWh battery, offering up to 530km of driving range, according to more generous CLTC standards..
