Quinton concedes he was baffled when talented gelding Bryant lost form in two runs before a spell and hopes he can get back on track in the Ranvet Handicap (1100m).. The four-year-old won a maiden on Australia Day at Warwick Farm and a Midway at Randwick a month later but failed to reproduce after that and was spelled..

Louise Day also rides Bryant and Quinton said he's taken his time getting the horse back to the races.. "He started off on the right note, in his second win when Tim (Clark) rode him it was a pretty big performance,'' he said.. "He trialled quite nicely in his last trial..

Snitzel's Girl is an interesting runner resuming.. She struck a heavy track at her only run back on July 1 and kept finding the line.. Does no work from the inside gate and if she gets the breaks could be finishing off strongly..

Saffron Veil is bursting to win a race having bumped into one better in both starts so far.. Just missed on debut then held up at a vital stage two weeks ago before knuckling down late.. Extra 50m, draws well and James McDonald goes on for the first time..

A win isn't far away and she's hard to beat again.. Dangers:. 8..

Zahav always looked in control in an all the way trial win at Gosford a few weeks ago.. If that's any guide he can put himself into a handy spot and give some cheek.. 4..

Dr Know was a $1.85 favourite at Kembla on debut, he led and looked to have his chance when holding third.. Perhaps he'll be improved for it and if he is then he could fare better.. 12..

Caloocan Beauty was a shade disappointing at her only start back in January at Randwick.. She was in the market, raced on speed and didn't finish it off.. A couple of trials over different trips have been handy and she's worth including..

Doradus is racing in super form from the front this time in and it took a pretty smart filly to run him down at Rosehill last time out.. The trip holds no fears for him, he should get across to the front and if he's able to get that nice run up front again he can take plenty of catching back to Canterbury.. Dangers:.

2.. Fioprospero bounced back to his best with a strong win over this track and distance three weeks back.. Firmer track likely but now he's in form again he could hold it..

3.. Standard Deviation ran an even fourth behind Doradus first-up then run down by Fioprospero so he looks to have the form around the right horses to be competitive once again.. 7..

Supreme Sovereign is racing well without winning, ran third behind the two above horses two runs back and is on the back up after an even third at Kensington.. Each-way chances again.. How to play it:.

Doradus WIN.. Race 4 - 3:20PM EXCEEDANCE @ VINERY STUD HANDICAP (1250 METRES) 4.. Alabama Fox improved through the preparation last time in culminating in a win at Rosehill in a BM78..

She rarely runs a bad one, her trials are fine and draws to get a perfect run without doing too much work.. Wouldn't surprise if one gets her late while fresh but she has to be the horse to beat.. Dangers:.

3.. Unstopabull is going pretty well of late and is on the back up after a third at Kensington last week.. He posted a rare win over this track and trip three runs back and sure to be around the mark..

2.. Snack Bar is pretty well known these days and he's back a notch after a couple of runs at Saturday level where he's been close up.. Runner-up in a similar race three runs back and if the stars align for him he's capable of being in the finish..

8.. Ertijaaj resumed at 1500m last time in so this is the shortest trip she's contested in three Australian starts.. Chance she finds it a bit sharp but keep an eye on the market..

Bryant is over the odds if he can find his best form and in what looks a fast race it could very well suit his style.. With a bit of luck.. He was a brilliant Midway winner back in February but didn't fire in two runs after that..

Nothing wrong with his trials and gate one means he won't need to be too negative even though he will settle back.. Good each-way hope.. Dangers:.

2.. Fierce has the wide gate but if they do get along it might not work out too badly for him.. He's building a good record, was dominant first-up at Warwick Farm a month ago and sure to take a hand in the finish with a bit of luck..

8.. Whatalegacy led all the way to two provincial wins to kick off his career then runner-up as favourite at Warwick Farm.. That was almost a year ago, he's now a gelding and comes off a recent trial win..

Respect his chances.. 14.. Lucand Magic couldn't have done a lot more on debut scoring a dominant win at Wyong from the front..

Found The Gold was a strong winner at her debut over 900m then jumped to Listed level at the Scone carnival, hit the lead inside the 200m and was run down late.. She draws nicely, has trialled well and no surprise to see her in the placings.. 8..

Cool Waters wasn't fancied in betting but proved a bit too strong in this grade at Warwick Farm.. Yet to miss a place in five starts, goes up 2.5kg and if she can hold form she's around the mark again.. 9..

Blitzgal looked impressive at her debut winning at Rosehill in April but didn't reproduce it in two subsequent runs.. If there's some support for her she could show up.. How to play it:.

8.. Pappa Blue ran on nicely when resuming at Kembla also and won't find this any harder.. Fitter for it and worth including in the chances..
