Look beyond war and petrol pain to see most Australians are lucky

Times are tough, but most of us are among the lucky ones

I have been more tired than usual over recent weeks.. It doesn't come from one thing but from all of them at once.. Between work and home, one child starting university and another navigating Year 12, study squeezed into the gaps, petrol prices approaching $2.40 a litre and climbing, interest rates going up, and the general cost of living that tests even two reasonable pay packets..

Over all of it, there's the background noise of a world increasingly at war with itself..
